WOW! Written words won’t express how THRILLED we were with Vybe!! EVERYTHING about hiring them went way beyond expectations, from dealing with Catherine on contract and details, to the band’s incredible music, talent, professionalism and ability to work the crowd. We have heard unsolicited enthusiastic reviews from many of our guests. We had a trio for the cocktail hour and eight-piece for the reception—loved the horns!! These talented artists learned several songs just for us. We even hired our ceremony violinist through Catherine, and this soloist learned custom pieces for the bride too. Special thanks go to Vybe lead vocalist, Kimiko, but not just for her unmatched vocals and being our smooth but never intrusive emcee. Kimiko stepped in as “event coordinator” and improvised AND executed a timeline change on the fly to save a near disaster caused by our planner. I WISH I had another chance to work with them—they are best!

"When the initial band we had booked for our wedding bailed on us less than a month out from our wedding date, we were understandably freaking out. Somehow, some way, we found Vybe Society. Vybe was extremely professional and responsive (a stark contrast to the band we had initially hired) - even when working under such a short time crunch. My now-husband and I are kind of music snobs; we both love music and he has been a singer/musician his whole life. The musicians in Vybe were truly amazing and so talented! The style and mix of musical genres was exactly what we were looking for and we danced the night away with all of our guests. The band even let us steal the mic at the end of the night for us to sing a final song together for our guests. I highly recommend Vybe Society!"

Highlight of our wedding!!!

Vybe blew us away! We were considering booking Dart because of their strong recommendation from our planner however their high prices made us hesitate. We wanted a local band, found Vybe, and went to see them live in Oakland before booking them. What we loved so much about them is that they felt like real musicians, jamming and playing great music instead of a "wedding band" phoning it in as it sadly can feel like at times. We booked Vybe and immediately they became one of our most detailed, responsive, thoughtful, and professional vendors. But the day of the wedding was where they SHINED. They brought such energy, joy, and incredible music to our wedding. I cannot thank the band enough. I would HIGHLY recommend them. They are GIFTED musicians, true professionals, and an incredible deal. I can't recommend them more highly!!
